1. Introduction

At LetsLyric, we value your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you access or use the Application.

2. Information We Collect

We collect minimal information necessary to provide our services:

  • Account Information: If you register, we collect your username, email address, and authentication credentials.
  • Operational Usage Data: We collect limited technical events needed to measure application reliability, such as application and Service Worker versions, browser storage health, connectivity state, synchronization retries, and error categories.
  • Device Information: We may collect basic information about the device and browser you use to access the service.
3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

  • To provide and maintain the Application.
  • To manage your account and authentication.
  • To improve our services and legitimate business interests.
  • To communicate with you regarding updates or support.
4. Data Protection

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. However, no method of internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure.

5. Cookies

We use strictly necessary browser storage to run the Service: sign-in session cookies from our authentication provider (Supabase), your settings and offline data stored on your device (localStorage and IndexedDB), and, on checkout pages, cookies set by Stripe to process payments securely. We do not use advertising cookies. Analytics providers store nothing and receive nothing until you accept analytics in the consent banner. Your choice is stored on your device for 12 months and can be changed at any time from the analytics preferences on this page.

6. Third-Party Services

We use service providers for authentication, hosting, payments, operational telemetry, and product analytics. Analytics providers run only after you accept analytics in the consent banner and stop when you withdraw that choice on this page. PostHog processes explicitly generated reliability events under a random browser installation identifier and, when our product analytics feature is enabled, completed product actions associated with an internal authenticated account identifier, such as creating a group, song, playlist, or room, and using presentation or Bible features. When the Service is served from Vercel, Vercel Speed Insights receives anonymous page performance measurements. We disable automatic interaction capture, page tracking, session replay, surveys, automatic exception capture, and person profiles. We do not intentionally send authentication tokens, lyrics, Bible text, presentation content, command payloads, email addresses, usernames, or display names in these events. Please consult the privacy policies of the applicable service providers.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for changes.

8. Contact Us

If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, please contact us.

With your permission we send product usage events (linked to an internal account ID) and page performance data to our analytics providers, so we can learn which features are used. We never send lyrics, Bible text, names or email addresses. You can change your choice at any time on the privacy page. Privacy policy
